Killa Dalijoda
"About - Nestled amidst the forests bordering the Kapilash Elephant Sanctuary, Kila Dalijoda is a charming royal hunting lodge built in 1931. This elegant laterite stone mansion, with its distinctive European architecture and period interiors, offers a peaceful retreat where heritage, wildlife and warm family hospitality come together just a short drive from Bhubaneswar and Kataka.
History - Built by Raja Jyoti Prasad Singh Deo of the Panchakote Raj dynasty, Kila Dalijoda originally served as the family's exclusive hunting retreat. The royal lineage traces its ancestry back nearly 1,900 years to the Pramar Rajputs of central India. Lovingly restored by Debjit Singh Deo and Namrata Singh Deo, the palace today preserves its original grandeur while welcoming guests to experience its remarkable history and timeless charm."
