Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary
Spread over approximately approx.194 sq. km. on the northwestern fringes of Bhubaneswar, Chandaka Wildlife Sanctuary is Odisha's first wildlife sanctuary and forms a vital part of the Eastern Ghats elephant corridor. Dominated by moist deciduous forests, it shelters Asian elephants, spotted deer, wild boar, pangolins, reptiles, and over 150 species of birds. Its safari routes, watchtowers, eco-cottages, and serene natural surroundings make it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers
