Getting There

Mahendragiri can be reached via Koinpur village (base location) and Paralakhemundi (district hub). The nearest airport is Visakhapatnam (4–5 hrs), followed by Bhubaneswar (7–8 hrs). Rail access is available via Palasa (1–2 hrs) and Paralakhemundi stations (1.5–2 hrs). Well-connected roads from Paralakhemundi, Brahmapur, and Visakhapatnam offer scenic hill routes to the festival site.

Accommodation & Logistics

Basic stay options are available at Koinpur village, including lodges and homestays, while Paralakhemundi offers hotels and guesthouses. Camping facilities will also be arranged near the festival area. Participants in paid competitions will be provided basic accommodation and meals, while other visitors are required to arrange their own stay and travel.

Responsible Tourism

Visitors are encouraged to follow eco-friendly practices, avoid littering, and respect local culture and traditions. Adhering to safety and environmental guidelines will help preserve the natural beauty of Mahendragiri and ensure a sustainable experience.
